The Best They Can Possibly Be!

The mission of the Royal Military Colleges is to produce officers with the mental, ethical, physical and linguistic capabilities required to lead with distinction in the Canadian Forces and the graduates they produce are among the best in the world.  It is the role of the Government to fund the core curriculum and training programs necessary to achieve this mission.  

With your support we can help these future leaders achieve even more.  We seek to fund Opportunities to Enhance Excellence that are outside of the College curriculum and training programs and hence may not be funded through Government budgets.

The Colleges need your support:

• to provide Officer Cadets with as many learning and growth opportunities as possible before they arrive at their first posting;
• to expand, to the extent possible, the character base upon which they will build as they prepare to lead in all aspects of their career, both military and civilian.
• to make the graduates of RMC the best they can possibly be.

In Enhancing Excellence it will be our goal to ensure that no opportunity is missed, through lack of funding, to broaden the academic, athletic, leadership and bilingual prowess of the students of the Royal Military Colleges as they prepare to become the future leaders of Canada.

These opportunities can take a variety of forms including:

• Academics - Cadet travel to academic conferences such as the Model NATO and Model UN competitions;
• Athletics - Varsity Team travel outside of Ontario & Quebec for special tournaments and training opportunities;
• Leadership - Cadet travel for events such as the Sandhurst Competition and the Nijmegen March;
• Bilingualism - Cadet participation in unique immersion language training and cultural familiarization opportunities; and,
• Heritage – support to the RMC and CMR Museums, the RMC Pipes, Drums, Dancers, Brass and Reed Band and Choir and special maintenance of the RMC Commemorative Arch.
