Board of Directors

Overview

The Foundation operates as a member-driven organization, with an elected Board of Directors charged with the responsibility to govern the management of the Foundation and the supervision of its chief executive.  The Foundation operates with a Board of Directors consisting of between eleven and fifteen members, fourteen elected or appointed as of October 1, 2009.

Executive Vice-President

The Executive Vice-President is retained as an employee of the Foundation and fulfills the role of Chief Operating Officer of the organization.

Executive Committee

The Board has authorized the formation of an Executive Committee to conduct the day to day business of the Foundation.  The Executive Committee is comprised of the President, Vice-President, Treasurer and the Executive Vice-President.  Chairs of the Standing Committees are ex-officio members of the Executive Committee and attend as required. This body has no official capacity but acts as an advisory body to the President and the Executive Vice-President in the management of the Foundation.
